Shipping Policy
All orders are pre-orders and ship once produced. With production and fulfillment being fully custom and done by hand, roughly 6-10 weeks is the norm to receive a tracking number right now. Due to global constraints please expect a delay, and reach out to us with any questions.
We ship worldwide.
Currently, items are expected to ship an estimated 6-10 weeks after production begins (this timeline can vary). As soon as the drop ends, we submit for production as all items are custom made to order (which is why our drops are usually pre-orders). We will send an e-mail notification once these have been produced and shipped. You can see an example of the process here.
IMPORTANT: Please expect extended production and shipping times due to widespread logistics and supply chain delays brought about by the pandemic. For those ordering from outside of the US, shipping can take longer. Note: we are not responsible for any duty or custom fees incurred as a result of international shipping. Orders are not always guaranteed if there is a shortage in stock, in which case you will be fully credited or refunded.

Returns and exchanges
Since all items are bespoke and made to order, we generally can not accept refunds, returns or exchanges, unless there are special circumstances. In this case you may incur a re-stocking fee.
For any defects or damage, there is a 14-day return policy from the date of delivery.
Note: Variance in the dye pattern or print does not constitute defects. This is to be expected due to the bespoke nature of our garments. We highly recommend purchasing package protection as this will cover shipments that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.
Licensing & Brands
Yes, we always get permission from our partnering brands and artists. In fact, we often work closely with them to make sure they're happy with the designs we've created for them before launching.

General Support
The best way is either via our contact form or at info@shiborithreads.com - we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and generally respond within 24 hours if contacted this way. We don't recommend asking order-related questions via socials as they can get lost in our DMs!
Machine wash cold with like colors or alone. Only use non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry on low. If the garment has chain drawstrings, remove before washing.
Note: all garments, whether tie dyed or not, will start to fade eventually. It's ultimately up to you to take care of your Shibori garment, and these are just some common steps you can take to prolong the lifespan of your item.
Kindly take note that the sizing chart in the item description may not be entirely accurate due to the wash and dye process. To avoid any inconvenience, it is advisable to order a size up if you are unsure of your size. Please be informed that we do not offer refunds or returns for garments that are ordered incorrectly due to the bespoke nature of these garments.
