Official Giveaway Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. PROMOTION IS OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC), 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT TIME OF ENTRY. VOID IN PUERTO RICO, QUEBEC, AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
PROMOTION PERIOD: The SHIBORI CONSOLE GIVEAWAY (the “Giveaway”) begins at 12:01:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on October 14th, 2022 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on October 31st, 2022 or until the Originals '22 Collection sells out (the “Promotion Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec), 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, Quebec, U.S. Territories and where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees and agents of Shibori Threads (the “Sponsor”), their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, or any other suppliers to Sponsor and the immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in households of each, whether or not related are ineligible. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply.
HOW TO ENTER: There are three ways to enter:
1. Eligible individuals who make an online purchase on the Shibori Threads website at https://shiborithreads.com will receive ten (10) entries per $1 spent on the Shibori Threads Originals 2022 Collection (example: six hundred fifty (650) Giveaway entries for each medium-sized HOODIE purchased). No limit on number of entries received with a purchase on https://shiborithreads.com. Purchase must be made before October 31st, 2021 at 11:59:59 PM EST. Requests for confirmation of receipt of submitted entries will not be acknowledged.
DOUBLE ENTRIES
By sharing a post from the Shibori Threads Instagram or Facebook page, taking a screenshot of the shared post, and emailing as an attachment to shiborithreads@gmail.com, individual’s entries are doubled (ie. individual purchases one (1) medium SHIBORI ORIGINALS - CRYSTAL DYE TEE worth 300 entries and shares a post from Shibori Threads’ Facebook page, so the individual now has 600 total entries). Individual can only double their entries one time with this method (ie. if the individual purchases one (1) medium SHIBORI ORIGINALS - CRYSTAL DYE TEE worth 300 entries and shares three posts from Shibori Threads’ Facebook page, the individual only receives 600 total entries).
Individuals can also share proof of their purchase and tag Shibori Threads, or re-post Shibori Threads’ posts and tag Shibori Threads on social media to receive double entries. By doing so, taking a screenshot of the post, and emailing as an attachment to shiborithreads@gmail.com, individual’s entries are doubled (ie. individual purchases one (1) medium SHIBORI ORIGINALS - CRYSTAL DYE TEE worth 300 entries and shares a post from Shibori Threads’ Facebook page, so the individual now has 600 total entries). Individual can only double their entries one time with this method (ie. if the individual purchases one (1) medium SHIBORI ORIGINALS - CRYSTAL DYE TEE worth 300 entries and shares three posts from Shibori Threads’ Facebook page, the individual only receives 600 total entries).
2. Eligible Entrants also have the option to obtain one hundred (100) Giveaway entries via mail by legibly hand-printing, on a 3”x 5” card or paper, their full name, complete mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address, and mailing the card in a handprinted #10 envelope, with proper postage affixed, to: Shibori Threads Playstation® 5 Giveaway, 34 Strathmore Blvd, Toronto ON, Canada, M4J1P2. Requests for confirmation of receipt of mail-in entries will not be acknowledged. You may submit as many postal entry requests as you wish, but each request must be mailed separately. In the event a postmark date falls on a Sunday or federal holiday, the mail-in entry must be postmarked on the following business day. Limit: Two (2) mail-in entries per Entrant, per day throughout the Giveaway Period. On the back of the card, in 20 words or more, hand write a response to the following question: What was your favorite Shibori Threads collaboration and why? All mail-in entries must be postmarked and received by October 31st, 2022 11:59:59 PM EST. Eligible entrants can also obtain double entries for their mail-in entry by following the steps outlined in Section 1 titled 'DOUBLE ENTRIES' under 'HOW TO ENTER'.
NOTE: Entrants are not permitted to use any 3rd party organization, bots or automated software to assist with the entry process in any way.
All information must be complete to be eligible. Personal information collected from entrants is used only for the purpose of the Giveaway and will not be re-used, sold or shared in any manner, unless entrant agrees to receive further information on Sponsor’s products and promotions.
DRAWING: A random drawing will be conducted during the week of November 14th, 2022 on the official Shibori Threads Instagram page in stories. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
PRIZE: Grand Prize: a brand new Sony Playstation® 5 entertainment console equipped with a custom KUDAMONO SHIBORI THREADS skin. Total approximate retail value of Grand Prize: $600 USD. Note: image shown is a mockup and final skin design may slightly differ. Exact model of prize is subject to change and based on availability. Potential Winner does not have the choice of either digital or standard edition.
PRIZE DETAILS: Grand Prize Winner is responsible for any expenses related to acceptance and use of prize other than shipping fees and expenses, and must provide proof of two valid forms of ID prior to acceptance. Shipping of Grand Prize to be mutually agreed upon between Sponsor and Potential Winner no later than November 12th, 2022. Sponsor to assist and pay shipping and handling costs to deliver Grand Prize to Potential Winner. The prize is awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). Failure to take delivery on date indicated above could cause prize to be forfeited and awarded to an alternate. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
If applicable, Prize Winner is responsible for the payment of all taxes or duties on their prize and for any other costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of the prize other than initial shipping and handling fees. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value at any time during the duration of the Giveaway.
GENERAL RULES: Potential Winner will be announced on the official Shibori Threads Instagram page in stories, and then notified by email, followed by a phone call (if phone number is supplied), on or about November 7th, 2022. Potential Winner (or parent/legal guardian if Winner is a minor) will be required to acknowledge within 72 hours of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate Winner determined at random from among all eligible entries. If any potential Prize Winner is deemed a minor in his/her state or province of residence, prize will be awarded in the name of the Winner’s parent or legal guardian. If the potential Winner does not acknowledge notification within the stated time frame, the corresponding Winner will be disqualified and an alternate Winner will be selected if time permits. Should the Potential Winner (or any other alternate Potential Winner) decide to decline the prize for any reason whatsoever, Sponsor shall have no further obligation to that Potential Winner, and an alternate Potential Winner will be selected if time permits. No substitution or transfer of prize allowed, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION: This Promotion is offered only in the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and Canada (excluding Quebec) and is governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. By entering, entrants irrevocably consent to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Connecticut.
